Bielsko
The ORT trade school for weaving was founded in Bielsko, a town in southern Poland and the centre of the Polish wool weaving trade. The school had a status of public secondary school. The teaching program consisted of theoretical and practical training in weaving and dressmaking as well as in general subjects and in Jewish history.
In May 1948 the well-equipped school trained 100 students, with the majority of graduates forming successful cooperatives.
